Dr. Maria Edwin BMedSc, BASc, MPodPrac is the Principal Podiatrist and Director of V Care Podiatry. Maria has completed her bachelor of biomedicine from Deakin University and graduated with Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University. Although Maria enjoys working in all areas of podiatry her particular areas of interest include diabetic health, paediatrics, biomechanics, and footwear assessments. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and holistic assessments and treatment with a gentle approach.
Maria regularly attends professional development seminars to provide the best possible care for her patients and to learn modern treatment plans. She works closely with her patients to achieve the best outcome possible, with an integrative approach which involves physical treatment, educating and formulating goals together.
Maria brings a lot of positivity to the V Care family and proudly supports charity events, running events and educational seminars for the local community. She enjoys playing badminton and going for long walks with her doggie Simba.
